What needs an answer

  1. Which revision should the quotation use?
  2. Which material and technical requirements will the customer confirm?

The date is the customer’s request. Delivery has not been confirmed.

One paid assignment

The brief, source files and a change process.

Choose one enquiry type and the fields needed for quotation. Receive the briefs, links to originals and a process for missing details or later revisions.

Part

For part enquiries: identifier, material, quantity, requested delivery and drawing revision.

Machine

For machine enquiries: required operation, part or material, and capacity stated by the customer.

Handoff

Who receives the brief, where the files are kept and who confirms additions or changes.

Acceptance checks

Check the brief against the original enquiry.

  • Fields match the inputs

On selected briefs, compare quantities, dates and attachments with the originals.

  • Conflicts remain visible

Check that a missing material or different revision survived the conversion.

  • Your team makes the technical decisions

Your team approves the technical assessment, customer quotation and production release.

The process

From a typical enquiry to an accepted brief.

  1. Describe the handoff

Select an anonymised enquiry, the person receiving the files and the person preparing the quotation.

  2. Agree our proposal

Define the inputs, brief, acceptance checks, fee and date. Work starts after you approve the proposal.

  3. Review the finished briefs

Check them against the sample and receive the process for additions and later changes.
