Scope and limitations

A candidate’s analysis for the Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield selection process, based on public sources and external benchmarks, with sources identified for each claim. It is not an internal URW document or an official Chodov strategy, uses no confidential company data and requests no budget approval. Recommendations require internal validation before implementation.

The starting point

One hundred thousand square metres of gross leasable area, 251 shops, 348 thousand weekly visits, an average dwell time of 124 minutes, eighteen cinema screens and 46 food and beverage units. The largest shopping centre in Czechia by leasable area, strong in its physical asset.

Digital services and visitor behaviour

The analysis considers the app, visitor data, events and loyalty programme, and how visitor behaviour could inform their development.

Recommendations for validation

The analysis had four jobs: frame five connected improvement areas as a recommendation rather than an instruction; separate what can be shown publicly from what would need internal validation; for each idea suggest possible KPIs and the data needed to test it; and open a structured discussion with the selection panel.

What to take from it

The analysis separates public evidence, assumptions and questions requiring internal validation.
