Crisis and operations management

Operations on fire do not need analysis. They need someone to climb in and keep them running until a lasting fix is found.

When you need this

  • The person the whole department rested on has left and nobody knows what they did.
  • Peak season arrived and you are short of people. Hiring is running, but it takes time.
  • Costs are rising and nobody can say why.
  • The company works, but the same fire is put out every week.

What you get

  • Someone who runs it day to day, not someone who writes a recommendation and leaves.
  • Written procedures where there were none — so somebody can take it over from us.
  • A list of places where operations cost more than they must, ranked by saving.
  • A handover: who does what and how you know it is going well.

How it runs

  1. 01

    Week one: stop the fall

First we deal with what is burning now. No analysis, no process mapping — fill what is unfilled and keep operations running.

  2. 02

Then: find out why it burns

Only once operations are standing does looking for the cause make sense. Usually it is not a person but a procedure nobody wrote down.

  3. 03

    Finally: hand over

The goal is not to stay. The goal is that somebody can take it over and know how to tell it is going well.

Where we have done it

Fleet Solutions delivery operations across three countries — Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. When the peak came, we found and trained over forty drivers within a single month. By December 2025 the operation ran at CZK 1.70m in route revenue, 35 active drivers and seven operating streams. Straightening out operations and the department structure saved the company over three hundred thousand crowns. Plus partnerships with PPL, Packeta, GLS, GO! Express and DPD on projects worth over four million.

Operations tune-up 14 900 Kč. Longer engagements are scope-based.
